GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The low hit that fractured the right fibula of Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb was deemed to be legal by the NFL.
Late in the second quarter of the Packers' Week 6 matchup in Baltimore, Ravens rookie safety Matt Elam dove near Cobb's knee to make the tackle. Cobb immediately grimaced as he fell to the ground, which led quarterback Aaron Rodgers...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- In this week's media session, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers discussed how the loss of Randall Cobb impacts him and the offense, what he's preparing for in the upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns and much more.
Here are five question-and-answer highlights from the interview with Rodgers:
1. What do you expect out of the guys (WR Myles...
Time to take a look at players that we should look to be moving and players that we should be trying to acquire. It’s time to bamboozle these fools with the Bait and Switch:

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The loss of Randall Cobb for at least eight weeks is a significant loss for the Green Bay Packers' offense. On punt returns, however, Cobb's absence might not be felt much, at least based on the glowing praise that coach Mike McCarthy gave rookie Micah Hyde.
Hyde had been splitting punt-return duties with Cobb situationally in recent weeks after the Packers...
Nick Foles might have been the Creeper Report’s greatest acquisition of the year. In my 16 team Euro fantasy football league, where I grabbed a bunch of runners and catchers before realizing all the throwers were going fast, I grabbed Michael Vick in the seventh round. With a new coach and an injury history, he was too much of a question mark for my taste. But he had two good games...

Does anyone else around here feel like if the Green Bay Packers dealt with even an average-to-above-average number of injuries they’d be like the early-mid 2000′s Patriots? Tuesday’s news cycle brought the news that Randall Cobb is ineligible to practice with the team for the next 6 weeks and ineligible to play for the next 8. His return should be in week 15 against Dallas...
Tuesday’s decision to put Randall Cobb on the injured reserve/designated for return list did not cause general manager Ted Thompson to make a bold play to bolster his receiving corps through a trade or a free-agent signing.
Rather he did what he usually does; he promoted from within. He signed a pair of practice squad rookies -- receiver Myles White and tight end Jake Stoneburner...
Despite all the injuries that have decimated their roster the past couple weeks, the 3-2 Packers certainly deserve to be favorites going into Sunday's matchup with the Browns at Lambeau Field. But ten point favorites? That may be a bit much. Certainly the Packers have a decided advantage at the most important position on the field with quarterback Aaron Rodgers going up against...
