Amber Miller is an experienced marathoner who ran the Chicago Marathon this past Sunday, and finished, despite being almost 39-weeks pregnant. It took the Chicago woman 6 hours and 25 minutes to finish the 26.2 mile race, which is a bit slower than Miller’s usual marathon times.
Of course, she never ran those races during a full term pregnancy either.
Not too long after completing the grueling run, Miller’s contractions started, and a few hours later gave birth to a healthy baby girl named June. And before you go thinking that she was crazy for undertaking a marathon so far into her pregnancy, think again—Miller was given the go ahead by her doctor.
