You have probably heard by now about the mysterious grid-like lines discovered in the China's Gobi desert. What they're supposed to be has been the source of much discussion on the internet.
That said, I think I've figured out what the lines are supposed to be:
The "stained glass" stripe on Boston College's helmets.
Well, that or the Chinese Communist government is trying to create its own ginormous version of The Pattern from The Chronicles of Amber. Or maybe it's the Pattern's Courts of Chaos counterpart the Lorgus.
