The Cincinnati Bearcats will be a 5 seed in the NCAA tournament. They open play on Thursday against the 12 seed Harvard in Spoakane. The Bearcats have their best seed in the Mick Cronin era. They have been a 6 seed twice and were a 10 last year. Cincinnati has gone 1-1, 2-1 and 0-1 in the NCAA tournament under coach Cronin. This is the highest seed Cincinnati has had since 2004.
