Waiting For Next Year:
The Bon Jovi concert scheduled to kick off the Browns’ season at FirstEnergy Stadium has been canceled, per Cleveland’s NewsNet5.
The event, billed as a “major announcement” complete with exorbitant fan fare from the team less than one month ago, was also to include a “Fan Fest,” performance by Cleveland native Michael Stanley and the Resonators and a Browns pep rally, all leading up to the Bon Jovi show. Tickets for the show went on sale Monday, June 3 at 10 a.m.
Citing multiple sources, there has not been a reason given for the cancellation, but the team—which is, naturally, not commenting at this time—is anticipated to send out a press release on the matter on Monday.

In an arbitrary segment rife with arbitrary individuals, former Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin referred to Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Joe Thomas as a “fat guy” who doesn’t impact a game in the way others on a list (provided by NFL Network) do. Turn up your volume a bit and take a listen for yourself.
The whole segment seems to be of the “embrace debate” culture...
First year Cleveland Browns head coach Rod Chudzinski may not have had as many draft picks as a first year coach might have liked, however, he was able to turn heads with his first selections of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Chudzinski addressed two of the team’s bigger defensive needs with his first two picks in April as he drafted linebacker Barkevious Mingo and cornerback Leon McFadden...
The new-look Cleveland Browns were set to kickoff their new season in a big way with classic rock veterans Bon Jovi on July 14.
According to a report, the concert/pep rally is not happening.

The two game suspension of Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Brown will leave a gaping hole at hideout for the start of the season.
The good news is the draft day trade for former Miami Dolphins slot receiver Davone Bess may pay big dividends early.
Bess is the most experienced receiver the Browns have on the roster and though he's a slot receiver, he has played on the outside...
Tight end Jordan Cameron worked hard every day of the 10 week offseason program and the eight practices of on-field work, learning the new system of offensive coordinator Norv Turner and the possibility of winning the role as the starter.
Cameron was selected by the Browns with the 102nd pick in the 2011 NFL Draft in hope of being their starting tight end of the future and his...
When the going gets tough, the Cleveland Twitterverse helps the Browns replace Bon Jovi to help kick off the 2013 NFL season. Will the concert be cancelled for good? Will an alternate act be brought in to help sell it? Don’t say that we aren’t doing our part to help. Oh and it’s probably not possible, but if I had to choose a band that I’d go see and could fill up a stadium...
Cleveland Browns fans were excited to Fan Fest this year; not because the team is expected to actually be competitive for once. No, the excitement really had nothing at all to do with football or the Browns. It was for the Fan Kickoff Concert featuring legendary rock band Bon Jovi.
Go ahead. Squeal like a little school girl now. If I lived in Cleveland I know I would have.
In his weekly Sunday column, The Plain Dealer’s Terry Pluto indicates that CEO Joe Banner is looking for his team to use some of the cap room that they’ve saved.
When Joe Banner ran the business side of the Eagles, he liked to sign players before they reached free agency. Part of the reason the Browns have about $30 million left on the salary cap is they want to sign some of...
And how do we know this? We just do.
Hey, Mary Kay: I have been a Browns fan for well over 30 years. This year I still have that sinking they will be terrible again. Do you have the same feeling, or have I been trained to think that way? — Kevin Sandy, Navarre, Ohio
Hey Kevin: I have to disagree with you. I don’t think they’ll be terrible. I think they’re very strong at some...
Anyone who watched the Browns last season noticed the lack of holes rookie Trent Richardson had to run through.
The scene is the Champps restaurant in Valley View Ohio. I arrived this past Saturday night to watch Stipe Miočić face off against Roy “Big Country” Nelson at UFC 161 and the restaurant is absolutely packed with Stipe’s people. It isn’t an odd mix of people or even a mix that is at odds, but it’s pretty clear which people are the firefighters and which are members of Miočić’s...
FirstEnergy Stadium could be receiving a bit of a face lift in the coming months.
We hear Banner and the bigwigs are canvassing the stadium, talking $200 million-plus in upgrades.

Per Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Repository, the place once expected to house Bon Jovi for an evening could be looking at upgrades north of $200 million...
Last week we saw the reason PRISM was created (Brandon) and the reason the Lulu App was created (Brian), but we didn't see Dez fall in love.
That's what we're here for people. To watch our heroine meet her hero.
No, the producers have stacked the deck with jokers that aren't hanging around the mansion for the 'right reasons'.
But this week...
