Waiting For Next Year:
Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski announced Monday that outside linebacker Quentin Groves needs to have surgery on his injured ankle and will be placed on Injured Reserve, thus ending his 2013 season.
Groves came to Cleveland from Arizona along with Defensive Coordinator Ray Horton. A natural leader and someone with experience in Horton’s system, Groves was looked to as someone that could help the Browns’ linebackers with the transition from 4-3 to 3-4. Groves initially injured his ankle in week 2 and the injury has slowed his productivity all year and kept him off the field for much of it.
Groves will end the year with 4 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble in the limited action he was able to see on the field.

After the Cleveland Browns traded Trent Richardson following Game 2 of the season, they added Willis McGahee to take his place. The results of that pickup have been less than overwhelming, as McGahee has rushed for 262 yards on 100 carries with 1 TD. With the aging McGahee being the only thing standing between the Browns being without a featured back, it would make sense that the...

Since the start of the 2010 season, no NFL team has won fewer road games than the Cleveland Browns. The Browns are 5-23 for a .179 winning percentage in that span, but in order to stay in the playoff hunt, they will need to become road warriors.
The Browns know the blueprint for beating the Bengals. For the first time in a long while, they also have the personnel to execute that game plan. It could mean the first sweep of the Bengals for the Browns since 2002.
The Bengals defense ranks sixth in the NFL giving up 18.6 points per game. They are seventh against the pass at 209.4 yards per game allowed and ninth against the...
It's been a long time since the Browns have played a meaningful game in the month of November.
Captain D'Qwell Jackson, who's been around since 2006, said just ask the Browns fans if it's time.
"I think if you talk to the Cleveland community, they would say that 'It's time,'" Jackson said. "I definitely say it's time.
Browns quarterback Jason Campbell is showing no signs of problems with his bruised ribs as Cleveland practices for the first time after its bye week.
Campbell was injured during a Nov. 3 win over Baltimore. During the early portion of Monday's practice open to reporters, Campbell made all the throws with the Browns (4-5) working outside in blustery, frigid weather. He has gone...
With the Browns on bye week, we thought everyone might like to chime in on the games they watched instead of the Browns this Sunday. So who did you see? Who was the big winner? Who blew it?
WINNER: Jacksonville Jaguars. Literally. For the first time this season. Congratulations Jacksonville. Sure it took a holding in the end zone for a safety and a fumble return for a touchdown...
