The Cleveland Cavaliers are close to wrapping up their offseason. With likely two more players coming on the way, one a veteran PG and a "stretch" PF.
The Shaq move is likely the BOLDEST move of the summer, which is yet to be seen as a good or bad move. For sure, it helps slow down Howard who ripped right through Cavaliers defense in the ECF.
They have also managed to resign Anderson Varejao and sign Anthony Parker. Parker could be a starting SG or 6th man for the Cavs. Varejao, who played a key role on the Cavaliers in their 60+ win season, is unsure if he will start or not because combined with Shaq, he would clog LeBron's lane to the basket.
In the draft the Cavs selected Christian Eyenga and Danny Green. Eyenga has a high "ceiling" or upside. The team he played for also produced Ricky Rubio, and the Cavaliers' scouts fell in love with his talent.
