1. I'm blaming the wind.
2. Sometimes it's hard for me to remember that ST games don't count. They don't! Really!! It's just difficult to see my favorite Brave smacked around like this. By April 1 everything will be fine, I'm sure.

The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed right-handed pitcher Jose Contreras on a minor league deal, with an invitation to Spring Training. He will report to Pirates training camp on Sunday. The 41-year-old native of Cuba had off-season elbow surgery and will be rehabbing during Spring Training.
