Coach Pitino shared some troubling news this afternoon as he opened his press conference. Pitino says Gorgui Dieng’s visit to the doctor on Monday didn’t go as well as he had hoped. “My most optimistic timetable was to have him back for the WKU game and have him play against Kentucky, but it doesn’t look like that will happen right now,” says Pitino. Dieng hasn’t been ruled out for those games, but Pitino definitely isn’t as optimistic after Dieng’s recent doctor visit. Deing did recently participate in individual instruction and according to Pitino, he is great shape again. “He is healing, but we’re going to be optimistic about his return from this point on,” says Pitnio. It’s tough to hear that Gorgui won’t return as soon as he had hoped, but as long as he is healthy during conference play, I think Louisville will be fine for the time being.

Adrian Bushell Excited About Playing Against His Former Team

Adrian Bushell has a chance to do something that I can’t imagine many others have done before. Bushell could have two Sugar Bowl victories with two different teams.
