We all remember that home run by Bucky “Bleepin’” Dent. As comedian Ron White would say, “Things that make you go, buhhhhh.” Well, the Dent family was at it again, this time against a different part of the Red Sox organization. Wednesday night at LeLacheur Park in Lowell, the Spinners – Class A Short-Season affiliate of the Boston Red Sox – had a near perfect game against the Auburn Doubledays. Jamie Callahan, a 2012 second round draft pick by the Sox, pitched six perfect innings with nine strikeouts before being lifted due to pitch count. Callahan was named the New York-Penn League Pitcher of the Week last week for another stellar outing in which he went six innings and allowed one hit, but faced the minimum after erasing the base runner on a double play.
