Tweet Radio personality and overall douche bag Colin Cowherd might be one of the biggest jerks in sports media, but is somehow still relevant. While Cowherd has had many moments of idiocy, his blatant dislike of Washington Wizards point guard John Wall might just take the cake. Four years ago, Cowherd went on a rant about a then 20-year-old Wall doing the Dougie before his first NBA game (because, you know, kids aren’t supposed to be excited for achieving their life-long dream). After Rick Bozich, a columnist from Kentucky, wrote a column stating that Cowherd should finally apologize for it, Cowherd again went on the air to back up why he doesn’t like John Wall. Here’s a transcription of some of his comments via Deadspin: “Ooh, and you made the playoffs in the East. Woo-hoo! Don’t forget the Knicks until the last week were fighting for a playoff spot in the East, they fired their entire staff. So listen, when John Wall came out and did the Dougie, first home game, for 34 seconds, he was a moron. It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. I will never back down. By the way, the great John Wall—who was the point guard of the future—not in the top 15 most popular NBA jerseys. Not in the top 10 most popular team merchandise. He’s not galvanizing America, this is his first playoff win. He’s a nice player, don’t get me wrong. He still can’t shoot, and I still think the Dougie was the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.” So, instead of being the bigger person and apologizing for unnecessarily ripping a kid for a dance four years ago, Cowherd — as expected — tried to defend his stance by pointing out that Wall doesn’t sell a lot of jerseys. Because, that make sense (sarcasm). Eventually, Cowherd will realize that being a dick for no reason at all isn’t cool. People don’t like you. I’ll refrain from going on a long rant and simply say, screw Colin Cowherd and the horse he rode in on. -ALR

Game 2 Afterthoughts: The sports world is on notice

The hours leading up to last night’s Wizards vs. Bulls matchup had an ominous, mass-bearing feel to them. Colin Cowherd Still Thinks John Wall is a Moron For The Dougie

Simple rule, if Cowherd when face to face with John Wall says the exact same thing he said on air, then fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if it is very stereotypical and prejudice. Cowherd isn’t backing down and he shouldn’t IF, he would be willing to say it to Wall’s face. Deadspin grabbed the quotes. Ooh, and you made the playoffs in the East. Woo-hoo! Don’t...
