Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson continues to rehab his surgically repaired ACL and MCL following the devastating injury in Week 16 of the 2011 NFL season against the Washington Redskins. Peterson said that he is ahead of schedule, and said publicly that he will begin running over the next few days.
Apparently, that is news to the Vikings and their head...
The Vikings are in a weird spot when it comes to their franchise.
Holding onto the third pick in a draft with a potential franchise QB sitting there even though they just drafted Christian Ponder last year, and more importantly an injured star in Adrian Peterson who, although all reports are his rehab is going great, is still going to be limited coming off major knee surgery.
He's still a self-promoting douche.
Superstar left tackles are usually only found in the top end of the draft. That much we know. But winning in the NFL may not require superstar play at that position.
The Vikings may have done well to get Kyle Rudolph in the second round last year. This year, that could be could be the starting point for the top tight end and there isn’t much guaranteed after that.
