College Hoops Update: Temple Dominates Villanova

Is Temple the best college basketball team in the city? They are sure making a strong case. In front of a great crowd at the Liacouras Center, the Fran Dunphy led Owls defeated the Villanova Wildcats by a score of 78-67. Ramon Moore scored 32 points, and the Owls dominated the second half, outscoring Nova 43-31. Temple was without Micheal Eric, their 6-foot-10 center, who is recovering from a knee injury. The size advantage for Nova was not enough. This win was nothing short of huge for the Temple program, but the real question is: Are they the best team in the city?
