For a second straight day the Miami Marlins fought back, and this time the game ended with a win   On Wednesday, Miami topped the Milwaukee Brewers 7-6 in ten innings to snap a two game losing streak.    During the game, the Marlins acquired Carlos Lee from the Houston Astros for Matt Dominguez and Rob Rasmussen.  Lee is expected to join the team on Thursday.

Josh Johnson had one of his worst starts since April lasting only five innings in a no decision.   Johnson struggled with his command as he only threw 59 of his 106 pitches for strikes.    All five of the runs scored off of Johnson came in the second inning where the right-hander struggled mightily.    Chad Gaudin worked a scoreless sixth before Mike Dunn allowed a run in two innings of work.  The run scored off of Dunn came after the Marlins had fought back from a four run deficit to tie the game.   In the ninth, Wade LeBlanc kept the game tied which gave the Marlins the chance to win it in the next frame.  Heath Bell returned to the hill a day after blowing a save to earn his 18th save of the season.   The win went to LeBlanc who moved to 1-0 on the year.

Justin Ruggiano stayed hot hitting his fifth home run of the season, one of two blasts on the day for the Marlins.  Logan Morrison hit his tenth home run of the year in the seventh inning.   The longball for Morrison was a three run home run that tied the game at five.   In the top of the ninth with two outs, Gaby Sanchez hit a game tying home run — it was his third of the year in what may have been last at-bat for a while should he be the odd man out following the acquisition of Lee.   Hanley Ramirez knocked in the go-ahead run in the tenth with a single up the middle.

The Marlins will try to make it two wins in a row on Thursday when they are scheduled to send Mark Buehrle to the mound to take on Michael Fiers.
