Sorry for the delay, but here is the latest update from the locker room.
Eli Manning didn’t practice but Tom Coughlin said the quarterback’s plantar fascia is getting better.
“Better,” Coughlin described Manning’s foot. “A little bit better each time he comes in. He spends about 24 hours working on it. It is good to see the progress even if it is small.”
Tight end Kevin Boss (ankle) said he is also improving too.
“I’m continuing to see improvement every day,” Boss said. “The swelling continues to go down.”
Coughlin did say, however, that DT Chris Canty is not getting better. In fact, the head coach said, “He has got issues.”
When asked if that had anything to do with surgery or anything serious, Coughlin replied, “Oh no. It is just very difficult to get him beyond a certain point. It is very frustrating for him and us.”
