Cristiano Ronaldo runs pretty fast. In the past, we've seen him race against a Bugatti as well as sprint 96 meters in just 10 seconds in a game for Real Madrid. Nike has elected to demonstrate what it's like when you're on the pitch or when you're on the sidelines when Ronaldo comes flying by. The result? Vapor trail. I love ads like this. They're artistic, fun and they effectively get their point across without coming off as being too preachy. Your shoes will make me run fast? How fast? Show me. Sure, it's a dramatization but it's a dramatization that works. Nike would be wise to run a similar campaign during the NFL playoffs, with their content geared toward how Nike gear can make you bigger, faster and stronger when on the football field. I know I'd enjoy watching it.
