Jeff Dickerson's Blog:
CHICAGO -- Jay Cutler versus Rob Ryan was far more entertaining than Bears versus Browns. It was impossible to miss the war of words between the Bears quarterback and Cleveland's defensive coordinator in the fourth quarter Sunday afternoon. The verbal sparring match seemed to begin after Cutler was drilled by the Browns' sideline near the 10-minute mark. The trash talking continued the rest of the game, with Ryan and Cleveland coach Eric Mangini gesturing for Cutler to shut his mouth and head back to the huddle -- a suggestion that seemed to fall on deaf ears. Cutler downplayed the entire situation after the game. "I love Rob Ryan," Cutler said. "I think that he has always liked and respected me. I think he's a great coach, and you can just hear the energy he brings on the sidelines for those guys. I've always enjoyed playing and competing against him. I think he's one of the best in football. I've always enjoyed going against the guy."
