With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers completing the block buster trade of the franchises last ten years, a lot of anxious Bucs fans are worried that its too good to be true. Its not....Reavis is that good..and DO NOT WORRY about his knee. Because you have to remember, We have doctors too. The Bucs surely have had an entire team of medical professionals check out the knee, and it obviously passed. Now sometimes an injury changes a player. Sure he is not Adriane Peterson, but that guy didnt have a problem coming back to form, and as a running back he takes the pounding that Reavis probably will not.  You cant blame Bucs fans for being skeptical though...we havnt had a reason to cheer for so long... No playoff wins since the super bowl... No appearance since Jeff Garcia threw a pick end of 4th qtr against the Giants in 2007 playoffs... But this is the real deal. This is the Bucs getting Deion Sanders....only Reavis can tackle. The NY Jets have had some of the top Passing defenses in the last few years since Reavis. The Bucs meanwhile finished one of the worst defensive seasons in history, at least as far as the passing attack goes.  Tampa Bay was number 1 against the rush last year, and that wasnt a fluke because of its pourous pass Defense. Bucs gave up 8 yards per carry less on average than the second best team, the Pittsburgh Steelers; but only had 14 total less rushing attempts. That tells us it wasnt just that the other teams werent trying. The worst rush defense, the New Orleans Saints, had only 80 more rushing attempts against it. Thats only 5 attempts per game, so certantly not a case where the Bucs had a top ranked rushing D because no one tried to run the ball they were too busy passing on the Bucs.  Now add safety Dashon Goldston and corner Darrelle Reavis, and let your imagination go wild.  Tampa Bay plays in the NFC South against passing teams like the Saints (Brees) Falcons (Ryan) and Panthers (Cam Newton). These pickups should have their impact felt early in 2013.
