Dave Blaney and Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) will compete in NASCAR’s longest race at their hometown track this weekend. Blaney will pilot the No. 36 SealWrap Chevrolet in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday, May 27.
TBR AT CHARLOTTE – TBR will make its sixth start at the 1.5-mile track. Blaney posted the team’s best Charlotte Motor Speedway finish of 29th in the Coca-Cola 600 last season. In the May 2010 event, Johnny Sauter started from the 22nd spot, the team’s best start.
BLANEY AT CHARLOTTE – Blaney will make his 23rd start at the Concord, N.C., track this weekend. The Buckeye Bullet collected two top-10 finishes and four top-15 finishes. He posted his best finish of sixth in the October 2007 race with Tommy Baldwin as his crew chief. He started eighth, his best start at the track, earlier that year in the May 2007 race.
