Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) will join the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend. Dave Blaney will pilot the No. 36 SealWrap Chevrolet in the Crown Royal presents the Curtiss Shaver 400 at Brickyard. TBR AT INDIANAPOLIS – TBR made two starts at the famed track since the team’s inception. In 2009, Mike Skinner drove the No. 36 TBR Chevrolet to the 39th starting position, and a transmission problem relegated the team to a 41st-place finish. Last season, Blaney piloted the No. 36 Chevrolet from the 33rd starting position. He drove up to the 19th position before finishing in 31st place. BLANEY AT INDIANAPOLIS – Blaney competed in 13 events at the 2.5-mile track. In his 13 starts, he collected one top-10 and has an average finish of 28.6. He tallied his best finish of ninth with TBR owner Tommy Baldwin calling the shots of the No. 22 Bill Davis Racing entry. BLANEY Q&A AT THE SPRINT EXPERIENCE – Blaney will join his son Ryan at the Sprint Experience in the display area in the infield near the Hall of Fame on Sunday, July 29 for a question and answer session with Miss Sprint Cup at 10:20 a.m. HOMETOWN SUPPORT – SealWrap Repair Tape, based in Indianapolis, will back Blaney this weekend and at three more events throughout the season. SealWrap Repair Tape is designed for use in automotive repair, plumbing and electrical. It fixes and protects leaks or penetration from environmental elements. It is great for all those minor, do-it-yourself jobs around the house and garage. For more information, visit www.sealwrap.com. CHASSIS NO. 293 – Blaney will drive the No. 293 chassis, which he drove five times this season and five times during the 2011 season. The Harford, Ohio native’s best start with the No. 293 chassis was 17th at Richmond and best finish was 23rd at Phoenix this season. TBR purchased the chassis from Richard Childress Racing, where Jeff Burton drove the chassis prior to its debut with TBR. IN THE POINTS – The No. 36 team is currently in 35th place in NSCS Owner Points and locked into the top-35 by 78 points. The team is trailing the No. 32 by 19 points. Blaney is in the 34th position in NSCS Driver Points. He is leading Brian Vickers by 120 points and trails teammate David Reutimann by eight points. KEEPING UP WITH TBR – Keep up with TBR by following twitter.com/TBR_Racing and facebook.com/TBR.HBR. Dave Blaney Indianapolis:  “Indy is the coolest, fastest track we run on all year. It has so much history not just with NASCAR but all of motorsports. Everyone is always honored to race there no matter what. It’s not the best track for side-by-side racing, but everyone likes to go for the chance to race there and win a race at the Brickyard. Indy is also SealWrap’s home track, so there is a lot of excitement for this weekend.”
