Last week, Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose was in Japan for an Adidas tour and decided to face off against some eager Derrick Rose fans in some games of one-on-one on an outdoor basketball hoop.
In one of the clips, he faced off against three guys dressed like samurai and he threw down a nasty two-handed dunk:

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose as gone through hell over the past 18 months.
The critical knee injury in the 2011-12 playoffs, the rehab, the drama around the lost season and the self-doubt that must accompany all of it has not made life easy for the former MVP.
Rose is currently in the Far East promoting shoes and gave a few lucky(?) attendees an event the opportunity...
Derrick Rose is still touring Asia trying to sell shoes for Adidas, but as part of that promotional tour decided to play a little one on one. Well one on three in this case against a few Samurais. Rose’s knee looks pretty good here but I am sure Bulls fans are looking forward to seeing this in real action against actual players.

Doesn’t it seem like some role players are just meant to play on the teams they play for? It was always weird seeing Derek Fisher out of a Lakers jersey, Bruce Bowen seemed like he was born a Spur, etc. The case is the same with Kirk Hinrich and the Chicago Bulls. I’m not saying that Hinrich is as good as those two players...

Ricky O’Donnell over at the great Chicago Bulls blog Blogabull put up a piece a couple of weeks ago examining the possibility of Luol Deng playing some power forward this upcoming season. The idea is that the Bulls could incorporate some of the new-age small-ball style of play into their lineups, and use Deng as a stretch-4, a power forward who can shoot the three.
No this is not the latest installment of some Wolverine movie involving samurais. Instead, this should be something Bulls' fans are loving considering Derrick Rose seemingly is ready to go for next season.
