The Miami Dolphins had a terrible season in 2007. In fact they were flirting with an 0-16 record, before Greg Camarillo did the unthinkable, and scored the winning touchdown in overtime to give the Dolphins their first victory of the season against the Baltimore Ravens.
In 2008, the Dolphins got off to an 0-2 start. Then the turn around started to take place. The Dolphins dominated the New England Patriots. They then went on long stretches of nothing but wins to get the week 17. Week 17 was a game against the New York Jets. Whoever won the game basically won the AFC East. If the Dolphins won, they were in, if they lost, they were out of play-off contention. The Dolphins won, and the celebration began. The Dolphins were back in the play-offs for the first time in at least five years. The Dolphins then went on to lose to the Ravens in the first round of the play-offs, but that still did not hamper the success that this team achieved. This article takes an in-depth look at the differences of the two coaches, and the two teams. What went wrong, and what went right for the two teams.
