Division update: Giant honored, Eagle goes on IR

NY Giants DE Justin Tuck has been honored as the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for opening a can of whupass on the hapless Redskins offense last Sunday. Tuck registered 1.5 sacks, 2 tackles for loss and a pass deflection. I've been writing that Tuck is the best overall lineman on what may be the best defensive line in the NFL. He deserves this honor and many others. Read it.In other NFC East news, the Eagles have placed RT Shawne Andrews on injured reserve, ending his season.
