The Bruins were not firing on all cylinders at the end of the regular season, and it falls on coach Claude Julien to find the right combinations for the playoffs, which begin Wednesday night. That appears to include sitting defenseman Dougie Hamilton for Game 1 of the Bruins’ best-of-seven series against the Maple Leafs. Julien said Wednesday morning that Hamilton will most likely not be taking the ice in Game 1. Coach Julien was asked if Hamilton would be a healthy scratch tonight...he said "probably" ^CS— Boston Bruins (@NHLBruins) May 01, 2013 Hamilton got off to a great start this season but saw less playing time as the year wound down, appearing in just eight of the Bruins’ 14 games in April. Hamilton has played more cumulative games than any of his teammates this year after playing in the OHL while the NHL was in its lockout. Julien also said that Nathan Horton, who is coming back from an upper-body injury, will be a game-time decision.

Jaromir Jagr Enjoys A Pre Game Skate With Short Shorts & A Winter Hat

A.B. When you are a 41-year old, guaranteed first-ballot hall of famer, with almost 1,700 career points – you can do and wear whatever the hell you want. That being said, this pre-game outfit of choice is odd, even for Jaromir Jagr. Short shorts, skates and a winter hat are three things I never thought I would put in the same sentence. But to Jagr’s defense, maybe it has something...

Leafs' James van Reimsdyk Hits Marchand In His Little Brados

I love how the Bruins are labeled as such a dirty team. It seems like that's a staple of every opposing fanbase to reflect how ******* awful their team is. It happens every playoff game. What no fan will say, however, is how dirty their team is. Take it away James:  To be fair, it was probably the Leafs best hit of the night. Clear attempt by JVR to hit Brad below...

James Van Riemsdyk pokes Brad Marchand in crotch with stick

Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand is great at getting under opponents skin and it seems that Toronto Maple Leafs forward James Van Riemsdyk wanted to get back at him .  JVR did a great job subtly butt ending Marchand in the crotch, which caused Marchand to take a baseball swing in retaliation.  Too bad for JVR, the Bruins destroyed the Leafs and this series could be over in a...

(Video) Andrew Ference to have hearing for his elbow on Mikhail Grabovski

After I saw this elbow, I had a feeling that Andrew Ference was going to get some scrutiny from the Department of Player Safety for this elbow on Leafs forward Mikhail Grabovskiand, and he will. Ference has a hearing today with the Department of Player Safety. I have to think that he will be getting at least a game suspension for this hit. Word out of Boston. #Bruins Ference...
