CLEVELAND (AP) -- Andre Drummond scored a career-high 29 points and the Detroit Pistons won a second straight game for the first time in two months with a 111-104 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night. Greg Monroe's basket with 38.8 seconds remaining gave Detroit a 105-103 lead and the Pistons, who hadn't won consecutive games since Feb. 8-9, swept the four-game season series from the Cavaliers. Detroit has beaten Cleveland six straight times. Drummond also grabbed 11 rebounds, while Monroe scored 23 points and Rodney Stuckey added 18. Kyrie Irving scored 27 points, including 21 in the second half, but missed a 3-pointer that would have given the Cavaliers the lead with 21 seconds left. The All-Star guard was playing on the second night of back-to-back games for the first time since returning from a shoulder injury.

Man named Kim sings 'A Boy Named Sue'

A man named Kim English singing about a boy named Sue? It happened in Minneapolis, while the former University of Missouri guard was with his Detroit Pistons teammates at a place called Hell's Kitchen. English took the microphone, then stole the show with the Johnny Cash classic even if he had to read the lyrics off his cell phone. Click HERE to watch. There was at least...

Cavaliers fail to execute down the stretch, fall to Pistons

A day after the Cavaliers blew a fourth quarter 20 point lead to the Pacers (then 48-29), the Cavs returned home to take on the 26-52 Detroit Pistons. The Cavs had lost five straight games to the Pistons, including all three match-ups this season. Not to spoil the surprise, but they didn’t get the job done on Wednesday either. Bobcats-Pistons Preview

It may not seem like much, but earning a third straight victory would be a major stride for a Detroit Pistons team concluding another disappointing season. The Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers matched up at the Quicken Loans Arena on Wednesday night in a game that literally has no effect on the standings.
