Mesmerizing.

So this made the rounds a few days ago. Jets backup QB Tim Tebow makes national headlines for just about anything he does, so you know their was a media firestorm when he was filmed running shirtless in the rain, his rippling muscles covered in a mixture of sweat and precipitation.  For his part, Tebow couldn’t understand what all the fuss was about, but with a potential quarterback controversy stirring in the NFL’s biggest media market, and one of the most popular, and polarizing, players in the game showing off his physique while going for a run in a downpour, well, you don’t have to be a genius to figure what all the hubub was about.

Red Sox diminutive second baseman Dustin Pedroia, all 5-foot-9 and 180-pounds of him, decided to have a little fun with the pic of Tebow’s slightly sexual trot in the rain, by pasting his head on the QB’s 6-foot-3, 250-pound body and hang it in his locker at Fenway Park as an obvious joke.

Since we haven’t been able to find physical proof of the actual Pedroia/Tebow photo, here’s a crude mockup created by yours truly…

Crude my ass…that’s a friggin’ masterpiece.  If Pedroia ever sees this, he should take down that crappy cut and paste job he did and put this brilliant piece of work up in its place.
