The Eagles today continued to shape their roster.
After yesterday’s mandatory cut down to 53 players, the Birds released 3rd-year cornerback Curtis Marsh in favor of cornerback Shaun Prater from the Cincinnati Bengals.
Prater, a second year player from Iowa, was awarded to the Eagles after ring waived yesterday.
Marsh, the former third round pick, was waived/injured.
The Eagles continued to make moves as they began to sign players to the practice squad. Thus far, the Eagles have signed OT Michael Bamiro, LB Travis Long, WR Greg Salas, and RB Matthew Tucker.
Former Eagles have also begun to find new homes as TE Clay Harbor and LB Chris McCoy both signed with Jacksonville. Wide receiver Russell Shepard has taken his talents to Tampa Bay.
We will continue to update this post as news trickles down.

Ever since the Eagles hired Chip Kelly back in January, there has been monumental change in the Eagles organization. Everything from the coaching staff, personnel staff, and training procedures have been turned upside down. This is Chip Kelly’s first year in the NFL, and it will be a learning process for him and the fans along the way.

The Philadelphia Eagles did just what every other NFL team did today, trimmed their roster to the league maximum 53 players on the active roster. The Bills' Stevie Johnson has already started the trash talk towards their Week 1 opponent, the New England Patriots. However, Johnson may want to know the Pats roster a little better if he wants to keep on yapping.
Today, the Philadelphia Eagles released Stony Brook OT Michael Bamiro. Bamiro had a strange path to the draft as he didn’t know he was eligible to enter the draft because he was waiting on a 5th year. Bamiro could land on the Eagles PS. There is a very good chance he makes the ps if […]
Stevie Johnson might know a thing or two about being a consistent WR in the NFL. He doesn’t study depth charts though. I like that he knows Patrick Chung ‘personally’, but I guess they never spoke about what team he plays for. See the quote below:
“I don’t think they got nobody that can stop me,” Johnson said this afternoon at One Bills Drive. “For real.”

Coaches prepared for the Washington Redskins, players worked on their conditioning, and the front office tinkered with the roster.
The Philadelphia Eagles spent their holiday Monday getting ready to start the Chip Kelly era next week against the Redskins.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Adrian Robinson has a new home as the Denver Broncos claimed him off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Steelers had traded Robinson to the Eagles a week ago Friday for running back Felix Jones, but the Temple product wasn't able to survive the final round of cuts. The […]
