Syracuse University Athletics:
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The fifth-ranked Syracuse Orange field hockey team had its 12-game winning streak snapped by No. 10 Boston College on Sunday afternoon at Newton Campus Field, losing to the Eagles, 1-0. Syracuse outshot Boston College, 17-2, but was shutout for the first time since Oct. 18, 2008, a streak of 25 games. The Orange moves to 15-2, while the Eagles improved to 12-4.
