According to ESPN.com's Adam Schefter, the Lions will visit with recently released defensive tackle Mike Patterson.
Patterson, a first-round draft pick in 2005 out of USC, has played his entire eight-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles. He started 99 games, tallying 338 tackles and 16.5 sacks. His release created $3 million in cap room for the Eagles.
