Green Bay Packers rookie running back Eddie Lacy  collected the Associated Press’ Offensive Rookie of the Year award Saturday at the NFL Honors awards show in New York City. According to CBSSports.com’s Will Brinson, Lacy accepted the award from former Auburn star Cam Newton and said, “Lemme start by saying ‘Roll Tide.’” Lacy ran for a Green Bay rookie record 1,178 rushing yards in a season. His 284 rush attempts and 11 rushing touchdowns were also good for Green Bay rookie records.
