LOS ANGELES, CA - NOVEMBER 01: TV personality Erin Andrews and former NFL player Emmitt Smith attend ABC's 'Dancing With The Stars' 200th episode party on November 1, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images)
Erin Andrews, everyone’s favorite leggy football reporter, spent her New Year’s Eve ringing in 2013 in fabulous Las Vegas with her BFF Chrissy Teigen, Teigen’s fiancé John Legend, and Kings center Jarret Stoll.  Judging by the pics Andrews uploaded to her Instagram account, it appears as if she and Stoll may be more than just friends. Stoll and Andrews can be seen cozying up to each other in the group photos, with one shot in particular showing EA wrapping her arms around the strapping Stoll in the familiar and comfortable manner usually found when two people are coupling or in the midst of coupling and/or are extremely fond of each other in a “we’re more than just friends” sort of way. Now there is the off chance that the duo were friends who just happened to be at the same party, decided to hang out (as friends) and were caught up in the moment of celebrating New Year’s when the cameras started flashing, but that explanation seems like a longshot at best.  And while we’re not usually into the whole celebrity gossip thingy, the fact that this story centers on Erin Andrews, a sports reporter, and Jarret Stoll, a currently locked-out NHLer, makes it sports related and worth reporting on.  Plus, all good sports bloggers know that Erin Andrews equals pageviews, and let’s be honest, I’m not above whoring myself out for website traffic. Here’s the rest of the incriminating evidence, so to speak… Not much to this one.  Most of us have posed with friends and people we barely know in much the same way without it being suggested that folks are dating.  But this next one shows Andrews and Stoll acting like they’re a little more than just friends… So, are Erin Andrews and Jarret Stoll officially a sports power couple…an incredibly attractive sports power couple, or are people reading too much into a few pictures of a pair of friends celebrating the ringing in of the new year?  Who knows, but I’m sure the truth will reveal itself over the next few weeks, and we’ll be right there to report it…well after bigger, more established sports blogs have broken the news.  That’s just how we roll.
