ESPN national radio host Colin Cowherd can’t seem to make up his mind about Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Along with doing radio for ESPN, he also frequently appears on the four letter network’s television show, SportsNation. Cowherd appeared on the show shortly after the NFL Draft in late April and shared an interesting take on NFL quarterbacks.
“Most of the most prestigious college football programs in the country never produce NFL franchise quarterbacks,” Cowherd said “There are zero starting quarterbacks in the NFL from programs like Alabama, Florida, Oregon, Ohio State, Texas and Nebraska. However, the football programs at Delaware, Purdue, Cal, Boston College and Miami of Ohio have produced some of the top quarterbacks in the NFL today.”
Cowherd also shared his prediction on who the next future star will be.
“A year from now, the next great NFL quarterback, my prediction, won’t be from Alabama, not from USC, but Teddy Bridgewater from Louisville,” says Cowherd.
