Larry Brown Sports:
Evan Mathis, like the rest of us, is not a huge fan of the IRS. The Philadelphia Eagles guard shared this photo on his Instagram account on Wednesday, and it looks like he’s either urinating (or pretending to urinate) on an IRS building sign. I’m guessing that’s not going to help his efforts to avoid or come out clean in an audit.
As for the big boot on his left foot, Mathis recently had ankle surgery.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out where Philadelphia Eagles guard Evan Mathis lies on the political spectrum.
If you’re behind on the news, in recent days the IRS has come under intense scrutiny illegally targeting specific groups. According to reports, the IRS systematically singled out conservative groups — specifically ones with Tea Party-sounding names — for extra...
Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Evan Mathis posted a photo of himself on his Instagram account, peeing on the sign in front of the IRS building.
This certainly may not be the smartest thing to do since he’s technically breaking the law by peeing in public and defacing public property.

This is funny. I'll give Evan Mathis that. However, at the same time I don't think it was a very wise thing to do. It doesn't matter if he actually did or not the message that he is trying to get across by looking like he is urinating on an IRS sign is pretty clear (totally makes me think of those Calvin decals).
Hopefully for his sake the IRS is not feeling vindictive...
It sounds like Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly is ready to pull out all stops with his offense. Running back LeSean McCoy told the Delaware County Times that wide receiver DeSean Jackson may also line up in the back field at times.
“There might be plays where DeSean is in the backfield, you never know,” running back LeSean McCoy said. “I mean every time we come...
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Philadelphia Eagles and former Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones have come to terms on a contract.
The former first round pick selected by the Dallas in the 2008 NFL Draft, wasn’t re-signed by the team and the Eagles will get a solid third down change of pace running back.
Jones never panned out as an every down back and injuries...
Not the best way to express your opinion, but it’ll probably get you lead story on Fox News. And isn’t federal offense to urinate on government property?
But that’s not stopping Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Evan Mathis from taking his frustrations out about the allegations that the Internal Revenue Service targeted and put the screws to conservative groups who...
Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Evan Mathis created a little still this week when he posted a photo of himself peeing on an IRS building sign.
In an interview with SI’s Extra Mustard, Mathis was asked if he actually relieved himself on the building to which he replied “I’m afraid that if I tell the truth, I’ll lose too much street cred.”
Mathis is currently being...
I’m pleased to announce the two winners from my recent contest to win Philadelphia Eagles Academy tickets. They shared a quick story about their best memory of attending an Eagles game and both capture aspects that one can only get by actually being there with 65,000 of your closest friends!
Thanks to everyone who responded!
Also, at the end, I shared a few of my memories of...
After all that abuse from Eagles fans during his time in Philly, going back to his name being selected in 1999 draft, Donovan McNabb will return to Philadelphia for a yet-to-be scheduled retirement ceremony.
McNabb said, via NBC Sports Radio (via NFL.com) on Monday that the team thinks Sept. 19th would be a good time to do it, as the Kansas City Chiefs are in town. So Andy Reid...
The Philadelphia Eagles will potentially put the band back together for a brief moment on September 19 when the Kansas City Chiefs come to town.
The Chiefs are now being coached by Andy Reid who led the team to numerous NFC championship games and a Super Bowl.
According to the Philadelphia Daily News, on that date, Reid’s mainstay quarterback Donovan McNabb will probably retire...
Shady losing races to Vick, Baby Mama drama, Calling Matt Barkley “Mark” and now is being sued for trying to a pimp on a party bus. Get it together man. This lawsuit sounds a bit suspect, but once again it is best to try to keep yourself out of these type of situations.
