Found February 06, 2013 on The Sports Bank:
I guess the whole apology/clarification thing didn’t work out so well. You remember ESPN First Take guest/host/analyst (although no analysis gets done on that show) Rob Parker, who made the incendiary comments that Robert Griffin III was a “cornball brother” because he has a white fiance and possible Republican tendencies. (Here’s his attractive white fiance) Parker got canned a few weeks ago, “Rob Parker’s contract expired at year end. Evaluating our needs and his work, including his recent RGIII comments, we decided not to renew,” an ESPN spokesman said in a written statement. Now if the WWL leader can just do the same with Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless, Jemele Hill, Chris Berman, Dick Vitale etc. Then they’d really have an upgrade of on-air talent. So where did Parker land? Today, TheShadowLeague.com announced that Parker has been added to its roster. Parker’s first column for the newly unveiled website will be published Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013. Quite a large step down huh? “Th...

This may be a bit late since Robert Griffin III was presented the award on Saturday, but for those of us who did not see his acceptance speech, now you have. “Well it’s truly a blessing to be up here, to be able to stand first and foremost.” After exchanging hugs from family and Redskins owner Dan Snyder, Griffin walked up to accept his award and looked pretty smooth in doing...

Robert Griffin III looks uncomfortable walking (Video)

The video above is of Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III walking down the red carpet at the NFL Honors ceremony this past weekend. Many reporters mentioned that he looked great. The Status Of Redskins RG3 For The 2013 Season?

On Sunday morning, The NFL asked the Washington Redskins for an update on the recovery of Robert Griffin III — so as to aid in their potential scheduling of Redskins games in prime-time slots — the only thing that’s a near certainty at this point is that the QB will begin training camp on the PUP list. However, the Baylor product has a different spin on the situation. On a...

Rob Parker has found work again

Well, that didn't take long.  A month after seeing his contract not renewed by ESPN for incendiary comments about Redskins QB Robert Griffin III, disgraced sports bogeyman Rob Parker is back. Alexander Ovechkin: What the hell happened?

Before Robert Griffin III came along, Washington, DC was Alexander Ovechkin’s city. The Capitals left winger was talented and charismatic. He beat defenders and goaltenders with equal abandon, producing as many big hits as big goals. He was fun. He was also very, very good. In his first five seasons, the man fans affectionately call [...]The post Alexander Ovechkin: What the hell...
