Andre Chachere is a commit to San Jose State and is a defensive back that is expected to make a major impact for the team. He has agreed to do an exclusive interview with us, and we hope that you enjoy this interview! If you have any friends or know fellow fans, please spread the word about this interview and get the word out there! Q. Thanks for taking the time to do this interview Andre. How are you doing? A. I’m doing really good! Q. What made you choose to sign with San Jose State? A. I felt like I had a great connection with all the coaches, and I feel that I can really make an impact as soon as I step on campus. Q. What was the recruiting process like for you? A. It was really good. I got five offers and it really came down to Fresno State and San Jose State. But the whole recruiting process was something that I’ll never forget. Q. What other D-1 players are you close with? Do you know any NFL players? A. I’m close with L.J. Moore, Michiah Quick, and Devon Brewer. And I know Bene’ Benwikere pretty well too. Q. How long have you been playing the game of football? A. I’ve been playing football since I was eight years old. Q. How would you describe your game to a fan who hasn’t heard much about you? A. An amazing playmaker on the field and very entertaining. Q. What is your career highlight so far? One play or game that stands out? A. It’s hard to say but probably my Bullard game. I had six catches for 140 yards, one touchdown, and an interception all in the first half! I had really bad cramps in the second half and didn’t finish the game though. Q. What position do you expect to play at San Jose State? A. Cornerback. Q. What do you enjoy doing in your free time off the field? A. I don’t really have an “off time” as I’m always either doing field work or lifting weights. Q. What advice would you give to a young player with D-1 dreams? A. Never give up no matter what people say. And if you want to be successful you have to put in the work at all times. If you’d like to give Andre a follow on Twitter, his account is: @ThatMan_Dre04 We suggest that you give Andre a follow on his quest to fulfill his life-long dreams.
