I love the fact that you can get on Twitter and immediately take the temperature of a fanbase. In the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons traded their third and sixth round picks for the right to trade up from #30 to #22 and pick Washington CB Desmond Trufant. As always there is some mixed reaction but overall the majority of the response was positive for the pick. Some didn't like the pick....  @gritsblitzblog I don't wanna talk about it — Zach Kidd (@GBBZach) April 26, 2013 @gritsblitzblog I hate it. — #DBN❗❕◾◽SHINE◽◾❕❗ (@DirtyBirdNation) April 26, 2013   Some thought we didn't necessarily need to trade up to get Trufant @gritsblitzblog Liked it better when they first reported we traded our 3&6... Not 30 overall and 3&6...not a bad pick but overpriced — David Grant Davies (@falcsfan) April 26, 2013 @gritsblitzblog I like it...but Idk we hadto move up to get him...good pick though! — His Majesty The King (@BestntheWorld) April 26, 2013 @gritsblitzblog Love it but rather would've traded one of our 4th rounders instead of our 3rd — Tony Bereznak (@chyeahhhtone) April 26, 2013 @gritsblitzblog didn't need to trade up to get him dumb! — Sohn Collum (@scollum21) April 26, 2013   And of course the positives.... First Round NFL Draft Grades: Atlanta Falcons

PICK: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington ANALYSIS: Atlanta had been rumored to be wanting to move up for someone, and Trufant was one of the names commonly tossed around in that discussion. Atlanta certainly needed a corner, and Trufant was the best CB on the board. They were smart to jump Minnesota and Indy to grab him. I'm still surprised St. Louis traded down instead...

Falcons Trade Up and Select Desmond Trufant

The Atlanta Falcons traded up as expected in the 2013 NFL Draft. The Falcons moved up to #22 in the first round to select Desmond Trufant of Washington. Desmond Trufant CB from the University of Washington.  This is a great pick for the Falcons as he has speed to burn.  He has the ability to be a shut down corner on an already solid defense.  As a senior he was a first team All Pac-12 selection.[4] UW was ranked No.16 in the nation (second in the Pac-12) in pass defense (188.9 yards allowed per game) at the end of the regular...

Atlanta Falcons Move Up in First Round, Draft Desmond Trufant
