NFL Injury Report:
Several starters for the Atlanta Falcons, including wide
receiver Julio Jones (ankle), running back Michael Turner (groin), linebacker
Sean Weatherspoon (ankle) and defensive end John Abraham (back), are
questionable to play against the Arizona Cardinals today, while tight end Tony
Gonzalez (shoulder), linebacker Mike Peterson (foot) and defensive lineman
Jonathan Babineaux (thigh) are probable to suit up.
Falcons coach Mike Smith called Jones a game-time decision
against the Cardinals. The explosive wide receiver hasn’t practiced this week
as he’s been dealing with an ankle injury. Turner is expected to play despite a
groin injury, while Sean Weatherspoon’s ankle is likely to keep him sidelined
through another game.
Beyond Jones, Abraham, Weatherspoon and Turner, defensive lineman
Vance Walker (ribs) is also questionable to play, while Gonzalez, Babineaux, Peterson,
wide receiver Harry Douglas (ankle) and linebacker Nicholas Stephen (foot) are
