C.J. Watson has emerged as a practically a must start player in deeper fantasy leagues. He is averaging 23.4 points, 4.2 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 2.2 steals in his past 5 games. Some would make the argument that the Warriors gel more with him and Curry on the court rather than when Ellis and Curry are on the court together.
Marcus Thornton along with Darren Collison are two rookies most people slept on. Basically because people thought the Hornets were going to be better and with Chris Paul who would have thought Collison would have played as well as he has thus far. Marcus Thornton dropped 37 points last night vs the Cavs who are a very good offensive team. He had 23 points in the second quarter alone!
Omri Casspi if hes not already on your team pick this guy up. He has a great shooting stroke, and is pretty athletic for his size. He is on a rebuilding Kings team, the fans love him, and hes playing 30 minutes a game averaging 14.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.8 steals over his last five contests.
Sergio Rodriguez, I have been saying this since he was a third string back up with the Kings..this guy can straight up run the point. He weaves in and out of the defense and painted area as if nobody was there. He has great court vision and can find the open guy. He had 8 steals the other night as well so he gets it done defensively as well. He is Duhon times 10. If the Knicks players can start hitting WIDE open shots this guy could average close to 13 assists a game. He is a must add in deep keeper leagues. I see his averages being 13 points, 10 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals.
Serge Ibaka is emerging as the Pf/C of the OKC Thunder. He boasts how he can dunk from the FT line and is extremely athletic for being 6'11. He is a force and with how athletic the Thunder are, he could turn out to be an extremely good fantasy player because he can block shots and rebound extremely well.
Javale McGee/Deandre Jordan both players got helped out with trades and are seeing a boost in minutes. They are both young and pretty raw, but Jordan shoes a little bit more touch down low. Give these guys a shot if your in need of a center. They both could turn out to be starters next year.
