During Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals -- which was what, six weeks ago now? -- rapper Flo Rida's manager made a scene from his courtside seat and got himself ejected from AmericanAirlines Arena: Apparently, San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich hasn't forgotten that skirmish -- or maybe he's just being Gregg Popovich -- and has taken the steps to make sure it doesn't happen again when his team returns to Miami looking to clinch an NBA championship. Mr. Rida's manager, Freezy, appeared on 104.3 The Ticket in Miami Tuesday morning, where he claimed that Popovich complained to the league about the cheering and screaming going on in Freezy and Flo Rida's expensive seats. According to Freezy, who would never exaggerate such a thing, he was told he wasn't allowed in the arena, and was informed that he would be arrested if he showed up to Game 6 or Game 7. So he won't be there Tuesday night when the teams tip off for Game 6, and neither will Flo Rida . It should be noted, at this point, that Flo Rida's usual seat is next to Phyllis Katz , the 70-year-old wife of Heat minority owner Raanan Katz. And she doesn't exactly look happy that he's there: It wouldn't be especially shocking if that had something to do with the phone call either. But it's more fun to pin it on Pop, so even if it was Heat ownership that put the kibosh on Freezy's Tuesday and Thursday plans, we'll stick with Freezy's account of events. No word on whether Flo Rida's Jesus chain will be showing up without him.
