In-state rivals Miami and Florida have scheduled a home-and-home men's basketball series over the next two seasons. The teams will face off for the first time since 2009 when the Gators took down the Hurricanes 74-60 in the second round of the NIT. Florida will host Miami on Nov. 17 before the squads meet in South Florida for the 2015-16 season for the first time since 2005. The Gators lead the all-time series 45-22, having won 15 of 17. Miami last beat Florida in 2004 in a 72-65 victory in Gainesville. While Miami finished this past season 17-16 and missed both the NIT and NCAA Tournament, Florida reached its fifth Final Four and lost to eventual champion Connecticut to close out with a 36-3 record. Aaron Hernandez Is Mr. July In This Florida Gators 2014 Calendar

In what is likely a very unfortunate oversight, Aaron Hernandez is featured as Mr. July in this Florida Gators 2014 calendar being sold at various retailers, including Target. Approval for the calendar likely went through just before Hernandez was charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd in June of 2013 (he has since been charged with a double-homicide as well) and was never pulled...

Aaron Hernandez is Mr July in Gators Calendar (Photo)

Ysomeone should have probably caught this and called an audible. Current inmate and former Gator Aaron Hernandez is Mr July in this Florida Gators calendar. Now in the interest of fairness, Florida is saying that the people are picked over a year in advance. Also, it’s not an official Gators calendar but a licensed product. With all that being said, its a bad situation even if...
