PLAYERS: Dee Milliner
TEAMS: New York Jets
According to a former New York Jets coach, corner back Dee Milliner may not be better than some college players (Credit: NY Post) Earlier this week, New York Jets corner back Dee Milliner said he is the best corner back in the NFL. While it is hard to argue that Milliner is even in the top-5 right now, one of the Jets’ former coaches believes some college players are better than Milliner. “Dee Milliner is a guy that, it’s just taking him a little while,” Westhoff said. “I was not very impressed with his rookie year. He made the mistake—and sometimes I think it’s the way a guy phrases an answer to a question—about being the best cornerback in the league, and he said that he was. Man, I’m not sure he’s the best cornerback up here in Cortland. And I might include the university.” Westhoff may no longer be employed by the team but he was still invited to roam the sidelines as the Jets opened training camp at the University of Cortland this week. While Milliner may have been a bit over-zealous on his proclamation of being the best corner in the league, one way he can shut up the haters is by performing well on-the-field. Although, maybe if he makes a few more comments off-the-field, Richard Sherman can take a few shots at him on social media. Want to interact with the Sports-Kings? Like Us On Facebook

New York Jets training camp is going as smoothly as a New York Jets training camp can be expected to go. There’s drama, but it’s no Sanchez v. Tebow. There’s chatter, but is anyone truly surprised? But more than anything else, training camp is about who is performing well and who is not. With the Jets’ first preseason game a mere five days away (hosting Indianapolis this...

CORTLAND, N.Y.- The Jets held their annual Green and White scrimmage Saturday night in front of a packed crowd at SUNY Cortland. Top prospect for New York Jets returns from concussion

Last week the New York Jets looked like they might lose their first round draft pick before the 2014 season even began.
