Louisiana Tech Bulldogs
Mark Threlkeld spent three quality seasons with Louisiana Tech University. A 6-3/200 pound infielder, Mark hit a combined .319 with 28 homers and 128 runs batted. After a stellar 2010 season, he was named to the All-WAC Team.
Mark spent the summer of '10 with the Duluth Huskies and he was one of the stars in the Northwoods League. He hit .281, smacked 10 homers and drove in 49 runs batted in. He also scored 38 runs, hit 18 doubles and added one triple for the Huskies.

He then briefly played for the Thomasville HiToms in 2011. He hit .231 in 13 at-bats before being drafted by the Royals in the 25th round of the MLB Draft.
After singing a pro-contract, Mark was sent to Idaho Falls. He hit .271, with 4 home runs and 31 runs batted in. Last season, he played for the Burlington Royals of the Appalachian League. He turned in a season in which he hit .283-10-40 in 219 at-bats.
