Free agent guard Drew Neitzel has signed with the Dallas Mavericks. The defending NBA champions announced the move Sunday, when they also confirmed they had acquired Lamar Odom from the Los Angeles Lakers. A former Michigan State standout, Neitzel went undrafted in 2008 but played for Minnesota's summer league team and then Portland's the next summer. Neitzel played in Germany last season, averaging 7.7 points, 3.4 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 16 games for BBC Bayreuth. He played 138 games in four seasons at Michigan State. He averaged 18.1 points as a junior.
