I'll be the first to say that I never thought Fresno State would win a game at the College World Series. Yet, the Bulldogs proved me wrong, early and often. In fact, the Bulldogs blitzed my pick to win the championship, the Rice Owls. Obviously, it is double elimination, so Rice still has a chance, yet, Fresno State flat out embarrassed them with a 12-run whipping! Wayne Graham cannot be a happy man about the loss.

While some teams are still playing in the CWS, like Fresno State and Rice, the majority of college baseball players are focused on playing summer baseball. The historic Cape Cod League kicked off on Friday and many other leagues are in progress as well.

In order to get you familiar with all of the various summer baseball leagues around the country, you'll need to visit this link to Dale's Summer League Central, which gives you a drop down of each summer league and the teams involved.

I will also encourage you to check out the Alaska summer league.
