The Mavericks are stationed on the concourse of the AAC and some VIFs (very important fans) are getting their shot at autographs.
We can report the following in traffic-update style.
There's a tremendous tie-up in the avenue leading to Dirk Nowitzki. Approximately 160 people were waiting their turn for a Dirk signature. Knowing Dirk, he'll be there until they are all signed. It's a major bottleneck, though, with his line snaking around one-third of the arena.
Meanwhile, it's also bumper-to-bumper for J.J. Barea and James Singleton, who had more than 30 people waiting in their line.
Coach Rick Carlisle had a couple dozen waiting to get his John Hancock. Or his Rick Carlisle, maybe.
On the bright side, there was clear sailing for Drew Gooden and Kris Humphries, with a grand total of six people waiting in their line.
The actual Fan Jam starts at 6:45 with doors opening to the public. The scrimmage will start sometime after 7 p.m.
