The South Carolina men's hoops program is having a very tough year and here is some video highlights of the last three games.We have been out-of-pocket in our coverage of the hoop's squad mainly due to National Signing Day but also it seems that it is the same thing each outing. Hard to write about the losses each time out.Let's hope the recent loss to Kentucky was the bottom of this travel down to the valley after reaching somewhat of the mountain top in winning the SEC East a few years back.South Carolina is now 9-13 overall and 1-7 in SEC play. South Carolina sophomore Chip Cox turned the tide of the match and helped power No. 69 South Carolina to a 5-2 win over No. 22 Georgia Tech at Bill Moore Tennis Center Saturday afternoon. The Gamecocks (6-0) won the swept the three doubles matches but trailed in the first sets of four singles before Cox pushed back to win his first set, spurring his teammates to victory as well.

#1 Kentucky blasts Carolina, 86-52

Damien Leonard scored a career-high 19 points to lead South Carolina against #1 Kentucky Saturday night at the Colonial Life Arena, but that was the only bright spot as Kentucky rolled to an easy 86-52 win over the Gamecocks.

W. Basketball. Grant Earns SEC Player of the Week Honors

University of South Carolina senior guard Markeshia Grant was named the SEC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced today. The Gamecocks' top scorer poured in a career-high 27 points in South Carolina's first win over Tennessee in Knoxville Thursday night. Grant's seven 3-pointers in the outing were two shy of the school record.
