Jeremy Sowers should quit baseball.

He has a future in acting.

The way he followed his script out there. man. Perfect, just like always.

In case you didn't know, Jeremy's script has him starting off like awesome.

He goes through the order the first two times in the first four-five innings and things couldn't be better.

Then, like clockwork, the third time through the order, when the fifth and sixth innings hit, he explodes.

It really is like a movie with an awful plot line that is too predictable.

Jeremy Sowers needs to be moved to the bullpen and used as a 2-3 inning relief pitcher.

Seriously. That's his best use. I wouldn't mind throwing him in the pen and having him go two innings for us every few nights. At least we know he can get people out. It's just he can't get people out more than two times.

Did you see the averages flash across the screen? Remember when Terry Pluto brought it up and I quoted it last week?

They make adjustments and he doesn't. They figure him out, get to him the third time around, and we lose.

It's predictable and it's happened just about every time he's started a game.

The offense?

Oh yeah well I guess it doesn't matter when Jose Contreras is as good as he was. Still they scrapped together two runs off him, which probably isn't enough, but still, as good as you can expect the way Contreras throws. When he's on, he can be on.

You can't take Sowers out after five, can you? The way he was pitching the previous time out, he had a low pitch count. I mean there is no reason to take Jeremy Sowers out, but he needs to STOP BEING FREAKIN' STUPID.

What else can I say other than nonsense like a two-year-old?

Rafael Perez is really in a rut.

He's typically the go to guy against Jim Thome and as Wedge pointed out, hes' never walked him before.

Seriously what's wrong with this guy? How does a guy who was as dominant as Rafael Perez was the past two years be this awful?

He was so pin-point in the WBC too. It's not like he's done this the entire year.

I don't know.

I guess Perez could just be one of the poster-children for why this team sucks this year.

You thought they were going to be good, but they haven't, and you have absolutely no clue why things are this bad.

Oh well, another day, another loss, another game out of first. Happy days.
