PLAYERS: David Wilson
TEAMS: New York Giants
New York Giants running backs coach Jerald Ingram told the New York Post that rookie running back David Wilson needs to learn how to be a complete player. “David has to learn you can’t be just a runner, that’s not what we do, you have to be a complete running back, you have to be knowledgeable, you have to be smart, you can’t just accept your mistakes,’’ running backs coach Jerald Ingram said on Monday. Ingram says it doesn’t matter that Wilson was a first round pick. “Just because you’re a first-round draft pick doesn’t mean you’re ready to play or they all would be great,’’ Ingram said. “It’s about winning games, it’s not a popularity contest. It’s time for you to grow up and be a man now and see what you can do with the whole ball of wax. Until he proves that it’s hard to stick him out there and feel comfortable.’’   var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";

Black Sports Online According to The Big Lead, via Black Sports Online, former New York Giants running back is charging people $1,950 to play flag football, basketball, or kickball with him. How the New York Giants Are in the Perfect Situation…Sort of

To say that the New York Giants played a bad game on Sunday would be an understatement.  Watching that game, many would think that this was the worst game the Giants have played in recent years. After watching that game, it was hard to tell if the team that was just on the TV was the Giants or if it was a misprint and everyone just watched the Jets. Despite the horrendous game and...

NY Giants season may have just crashed

With the Giants loss to the Bengals yesterday, the blame game is a fun thing to do. I've seen a few mentions of Eli Manning not having zip on the ball. Whatever. I say that because it's a moot point. The Giants, under Tom Coughlin, perform just well enough in the regular season to stumble into the playoffs, and then somehow  win Super Bowls. It's just how this team works...
