With Dez Bryant making this incredible catch earlier in the game Sunday, Lions Calvin Johnson wasn’t to be outdone and pulled down this amazing catch in double coverage:
This is becoming customary for Johnson, who seems to make catches like this on a weekly basis. Though Bryant scored on a 50-yard catch and run to put the Cowboys up by ten in the fourth quarter, the Lions managed to pull off a last second win on a late drive and touchdown plunge from Matthew Stafford. What started out as a slow game turned out to be one of the most exciting matchups of the season.
BEST OF MAXIM
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson collected an insane 329 receiving yards, second most in NFL history, in a 31-30 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
One of Bryant’s monumental collapses on the sidelines
Another epic Dallas Cowboys collapse.
Screaming. Cussing. Temper tantrums.
Was this the scene of a reality show? or the sidelines of a team frustrated by yet another emotional letdown?
With :12 seconds remaining in today’s loss to the Detroit Lions, the cameras weren’t shy in covering an altercation between Dez Bryant, Jason...
Calvin Johnson and the Detroit Lions made the most of a few extra seconds.
Johnson caught 14 passes for 329 yards, but like almost everyone else at Ford Field, he was a mere bystander when teammate Matthew Stafford lunged for a 1-yard touchdown with 12 seconds left to give the Lions a 31-30 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
''Our team has been resilient through...
Calvin Johnson does things that few receivers ever could, including Jerry Rice, but let’s cool it with the GOAT talk already — that’s “Greatest Of All Time” for all your scoring at home.
Yes, 329 is a lot of receiving yards for one man in one game — second most all time. And 1,964 yards is even more, albeit over the course of a season — the most all time. But six and...
IRVING, Texas -- A day after his sideline tantrums made national news, Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant said he doesn't think his behavior went too far.
"I don't think I did at all," Bryant said the day after the Cowboy's stunning, 31-30 loss in Detroit. "Like I said, man, I'm very passionate about this game. That will never change. That's what made...
Dez Bryant has never been afraid to wear his emotions on his sleeve.
The fourth-year wide receiver let those emotions get the best of him on the Cowboys' sideline Sunday, moments after Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford snuck into the end zone for the game-winning TD with just 12 seconds remaining in the game.
Bryant and tight end Jason Witten were seen on the sideline screaming...
These are the Dallas Cowboys. A week after grabbing first place in the NFC East the Cowboys produced another fourth quarter collapse.
They also produced two Dez Bryant meltdowns. Who can blame Bryant though, the Cowboys and the fourth quarter are a disaster.
Tight end Jason Witten was unhappy with Bryant’s antics and may have been trying to tell him that the game was not over...
The Cowboys took a 13-7 lead over the Lions late in the third quarter, but Dallas receiver Dez Bryant was not happy.
Bryant flipped out on the sideline, screaming at quarterback Tony Romo as well as receivers coach Derek Dooley and anyone else who crossed his path. Cowboys coach Jason Garrett tried to get Bryant to calm down.
You had the feeling if the Lions could only get out of their own way, they would have a good chance to beat the Cowboys Sunday.
After all, for three quarters the defense had held Tony Romo and the Dallas offense in relative check. Calvin Johnson was in full Megatron mode, achieving an NFL-record tying fifth career 200-yard receiving day (329 yards). And the Cowboys were playing...
Dallas wide receiver/superbeast Dez Bryant made an INSANE touchdown catch in the first half of the Cowboys' game vs the Detroit Lions on Sunday at Ford Field.
Here's GIF proof of Bryant's touchdown reception:
Definitely one of the better catches we'll see this year. Incredible leaping ability, strength, and concentration to bring that one down for six...
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant had a major meltdown on the sidelines during the third quarter of Sunday's game against Detroit.
Bryant was extremely animated as he got in the face and screamed at wide receivers coach Derek Dooley and quarterback Tony Romo. At the time, Bryant only had 2 catches for 22 yards (although he did have an amazing TD catch).
DETROIT (AP) -- Matthew Stafford's 1-yard lunge over a pile of linemen with 12 seconds left and Calvin Johnson's 329 yards receiving lifted the Detroit Lions to a 31-30 comeback win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Stafford threw a 22-yard pass to Johnson, who had the second-most yards receiving in NFL history, to set up his winning score. The quarterback seemed to catch...
Dez Bryant and Jason Witten shouted at each other in a sideline scene that overshadowed a stunning loss, with the potential to reverberate if the Dallas Cowboys let it.
Bryant's antics are the least of the problems for Dallas with a defense facing more injury issues after allowing a last-second touchdown and the most yards in franchise history in Detroit's 31-30 win.
This is why Brian Dawkins is still – and probably will always be – my favorite Eagle.
Wow Dallas. Seemingly Snatching defeat out of the hands of victory.

The Cowboys lost 31-30 after leading going into the final minutes of the game. The team imploded on itself, and Dez Bryant could be seen yelling at anyone with ears on the...
