Eventually, the Derrick Rose jokes will subside. Pretty soon, it will be an after thought that he decided to remain in a suit and tie even though his team needed him and he was medically cleared. The recent struggles of […]
Chicago Bulls fans, or any fan of Derrick Rose for that matter, should be very pleased after Rose’s first performance against the Indiana Pacers yesterday evening. After missing a full season of NBA action to rehab a torn ACL, Derrick Rose made his return to the court on Saturday in preseason NBA action between the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers. Rose had his first in-game dunk that caused the crowd to go wild. It was your run-of-the-mill jam, but I guess the excitement stems from seeing the point guard on the court made it better.
The refs don’t really respect Dwight Howard, so he gets no rope with them like other star players.

EL SEGUNDO, CA -- When you walk into the Lakers' practice facility, you immediately notice a 180-degree difference in the attitude of the players, coaches and team personnel.
The Dwight Howard factor is gone -- and none of the Lakers are losing any sleep over it.
Factor, disturbance, Dwightmare -- whatever you want to call it -- is in Houston; healthy and getting ready to...
There wasn't really a signature moment for Derrick Rose but on a night of over-the-top hype for a returning talent such as his this would have to pass for one.
With 9 1/2 minutes left in the third quarter of his first game in 17 months Rose picked up a loose ball near half-court. He gathered his dribble focused his eyes on the basket. It was just Rose and the open court -- Rose...
Playing competitively for the first time in 17 months, megastar Derrick Rose led the Chicago Bulls to an 82-76 win over the Pacers on Saturday night at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The 24-year-old Rose finished with 13 points, two rebounds, three assists and two steals in 21 minutes. Rose suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during Game 1 of the 2012 Eastern Conference...
For fans of the Chicago Bulls it has been a long time coming. No, a 'long time' doesn't do it justice. After waiting and hoping to see their superstar return last season its a sight for sore eyes.

It would otherwise just be another preseason game, but since Chicago's favorite son (other than...
In the definition of a game where statistics don’t measure impact Derrick Rose’s teammates tried and failed to convey exactly how much the former league MVP means to the Bulls.
Rose’s unique explosiveness is obvious as is his instinctive scoring ability inherent unselfishness and fierce competitiveness. But just his mere presence changes the complexion of a squad that while...
I can’t explain how excited I was to see D-Rose back on the hardwood. His first basket may have not been beautiful, but it is hard not to smile. The 2011 MVP made his preseason debut on Saturday when his Bulls took on Pacers and got his first hoop towards the end of the first quarter.

Unfortunately, unlike Dwight Howard who could be wooed with strippers and lower child support payments, it is the Texans who will make the final call on who will be their QB of the future.
He gets an A for effort though.

During his time in Orlando, Dwight Howard was known as a bit of a prankster and it looks like that has transferred to his time with the Houston Rockets.
